A 71-year-old inline skater from Southport has been taken to court by his local council, for what they claim is dangerous skating. They are bringing the case against Geoff Dornan under the Good Rule and Government Act of 2005. Apparently this will be his second time appearing in court for his dangerous skating. (why do I hear the “Bad Boys” theme-tune?!?)
You can read more about this story @SouthportVisitor and be sure to watch the video report above. The ignorant comments made by the disapproving public leaves me with just one more thing to say – “Science has proven that people who stay active in their old age, live longer. I hope that when I reach my 70th birthday, that I’m still rollerblading recklessly too!”
